This Blog Post is all about Meditation…
Meditation may not be for everybody, but for some it can be life changing. The more present you are, the more perceptive you become… I wanted to share my experience and which kind of meditation is for me. There are MANY forms of meditation, however the one I practice is ‘Transcendental Meditation’.
What is Transcendental Meditation (TM) ?
It’s an effortless technique for “recharging your mind and body” — and creating a brighter, more positive state of mind. TM is highly effective on stress & anxiety, brain function, and cardiovascular health.
They teach you to practice two times a day for 20 minutes a time, and recommended for morning and night. When I first started practicing it was an adjustment… To sit for 20 minutes and let my active mind settle was challenging…
They teach you how to reach that most silent and peaceful level of your own awareness — pure consciousness. There’s no words to describe the feeling when you get there. It almost feels like you’re showering your mind, it’s a very refreshing feeling internally. My Fiance and I both practice TM. I have seen major benefits in him and how amazing it helps you cope with stress. Overall I feel more balanced than ever and in control of my mind.
There are other variations of Meditation and I think they all have their own benefits.
We’re all hustling and going through life one day at a time- sometimes it’s nice to take a moment for your mind. The healthier our mind is, the healthier we can be!
